Sex and the City....

The craze for Sex and the City is everywhere! I mean, not just the previews are reminding me that I am a loser for not watching it still, but even the E!'s daily feed of The Soup (I hope most of you are familiar with already, I can't really explain it through here) made segments that is dedicated to the fact that most women, in their right mind, should have seen the movie... or at least know "la (correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that means "The" in French) secret!"

I like the big flower on her dress, but it seems like it would only make sense if you're in a movie anchored on fashion... no?

So to fill up my emptiness of not making it out of my front door this weekend to watch that darn movie (actually, I just got lazy, didn't want to go through the whole sha-bang of shower, get dressed, and put make up on routine, and yes, I like to look decent when I go out, it is not a sin, let me be!), I started filling my life with what my mother calls it "junk-food-for-the-brain," TV drama/reality series such as Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Living Lohan, and Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane. This also curbed my craving for MTV's hit series--also crack for most young ladies, The Hills, which I've been impatiently waiting for.

Okay, Okay. I know what this seems like, "What does she do with her life?"
I'm a University student that is currently on her first real summer since sixth grade, well, kind of, except for the fact that I now work full-time for a medical doctor; I don't have to worry about homework after the day is over, so I like to enjoy myself with some junk food and watch surreal lives of the glamorous pseudo-celebrities of the 21st century. They (the shows' producers) must have done something right, and for those of you who are cynical of the show being popular, the night of The Hills third season finale had nearly 20 million viewers and 73 million total viewers for the hit series (statistic courtesy of Google and its over-the-years credibility). And I have been told by my professor that I am the demographic that all marketers generally aim for! I take that as a compliment. Just don't make me feel bad.
The girls just have adorable fashion sense! What's not to love?
